Artificial Autumn!

Whats that?! Two Outfits Of The Day all in one?? THAT'S RIGHT!

ALOHA!!
Admittedly I absolutely hate rain and wind... however these characteristics of Autumn/Winter aside I think it's my favourite time of the year! I get to wear my big boots all the time and I'm not even scrutinized for it, not to mention the endless amounts of layer I can cosy myself in!
A-Level again are taking over my life, ever more so than last year I'm up to my neck in UCAS applications, personal statements and deadlined coursework so the one minute I get to take a Friday afternoon walk in the woods why not share it with you?!

OOTD;

Dress- AX PARIS
Boots- Betty Jackson
Cardigan- ARK
Necklace- H&M
Scarf- PRIMARK
Watch- MARC JACOBS

Whilst I was taking pitcures of my bestie (annieallsorts) for my Media project; I thought I'd share with you an outfit I styled for her too... enjoy, and whatever it is you're doing today, have a wonderful time!!

Until next time you beauties!!

DIY DORAN!

 (BEFORE!!!)

Hi hey hello aloha!!
I thought I'd do a post that was a bit different today, initially this wasn't a project I planned to blog about but I was just so please with the final outcome I thought it would be a shame not to take the opportunity to ramble about it (If you're not keen on bamblings then quick look away now!!!)

I had two weeks of time to waste, I'd just finished all of my exams and was blessed with two weeks study leave (since all my exams were already finished this turned into two weeks lazy leave with the exception of this little creation).
Basically we'd had the brown cupboard shown in the 3rd picture above shoved in the garage for years, or at least since I can remember, as far as I was concerned it was a hidden dime collecting dust screaming to be made into something new and as far as my parents were concerned it was 'junk'. So as soon as I had these two weeks free I decided I was finally going to turn it into something! (I'd always planned to just never really had the time). My bedroom has always been short of a dressing table and storage space so I thought this would be the perfect substitute for the both. I sanded down the piece and gave it a double coat of primer and then simply covered it in eggshell for the soft cream textured finish coat and then waited until it was all dry to sand down in certain areas for a 'shabby chic' finish.
All in all it only really took me two days to finish baring in mind drying  processes in between which meant I had the rest of the two weeks holiday to sit and look at it!
I couldn't be anymore pleased with the final outcome, it even came out better than I'd expected it to! Subsequently I'm looking forward to creating more of these beauties in the summer holidays to come!

Hope I didn't bore you all too much and why not try something like this for yourself?...
love always xoxo

A-Levels!

HELLLO LADIES!! I wanted to base this post around saying how upset I am I haven't been able to blog since Easter, as you all must know it's exam season and as much as I'd like to blog for the rest of my life and earn millions for it the reality is quite different! Therefore I've been slaving away on all of my AS subjects hoping I will get my sorry arse to university at the end of it!
I haven't at all had time to do outfits of the day and since I'm pretty broke at the minute skincare reviews aren't likely either (AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE THEM TO BE)!
So I thought I'd share with you a bit of my photography college work instead.. I finished my eight hour photography exam just this past week and I based my project around my Nana, I know I've blogged about her a hundred times before but the she really is single handedly the most important woman in my life. I started looking at obscurity and opacity, following our project title of 'Covert and Obscured' but then quickly moved on to re-creating famous portraits . my final images were Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe and The Girl With The Pearl Earring.. Here they are, Hope you like!!

HOWEVER I'm so excited for my last exam to be over next Friday (24th) as I have such a lovely summer to look forward to, expect an overload of outfits of the day and as many reviews as I can cram my small brain with- NOT TO MENTION PICTURES OF BEYONCE AT VFEST! Who's excited? I AM!!!

Sorry for the baffles I just can't help myself- Hope you're all!
All my love always! xoxo

Oui Oui!

Bonjour all you little Beauties!!
I haven't been blogging much lately and that's because I've spent the weekend in the beautiful Paris... BUT no fear I have lots of pictures to share with you!

So If you haven't noticed by now I didn't miss a single chance what so ever to get a snap of anything I came across in Paris. From streetlights and lamp posts to the Eiffel at night!
I can hands down say that this city is one of the MOST beautiful places I have ever been to and it undoubtedly lived up to every single expectation I had!
There's not much I can say about the experience except I had a lovely time and have definitely ticked off one of the biggest visits on my bucket list!- The pictures speak much louder than words..(or in this case letters) so I hope you enjoy what I've got to show you, and if any of you ever ever EVER get the chance to go to Paris yourself GO! Or... If you've already been leave me some comments on what you thought, I'd love to hear about your experiences!!

Love always and until next time.. oxoxo
